OPPORTUNITIES AT KIPS

OPPORTUNITIES AT KIPS

"Education is the most powerful weapon which can use to change the world."` Nelson Mandela

Karickam International Public School Offers a wide variety of excellent opportunities for students for their personality development. The process of education is not at all a burden here but a pleasure. education is the bedrock of social and economic development. We envisage every activity here keeping in mind the fact that the most important aspect about education is its relation to life."Knowledge without action is empty as a shadow." Thus "education does not become a withered parchment but the living water of the spirit." The school should be a home of teachers and students who reflect in their studies, and on the play ground and in their daily lives, the cherished virtues of humanity. Till our knowledge enables us to imbibe the noble fruits of life, it has not served its purpose.

The chief malady of current education is that it results in the dissociation of heart and head. Education should aim at the all round development of a person. Our school aims at drawing out the best in child. Along with the curricular activities KIPS offers a stream of co-curricular activities. Here is a brief description of the same.

There are ALTP(Advanced Level Training Programme) and afternoon clubs in the school. There is a special time table for this and every club has a teacher in charge to supervise the programmes. Nearly 25 students can attend a club and all students will have to choose two of the clubs. The ALTP is conducted on Tuesdays and Fridays and the after noon clubs every afternoon during lunch break.

The programmes conducted in the ALTP are Karate, Yoga, Basketball, Football, Shuttle, Badminton, Music, Musical instruments, Agriculture, Chess, Caroms  Garden club, Spoken English  Language lab, Movie club , Tailoring , Gymnasium, Craft, Philately / Numismatics, Life Skills club, Cooking Club, Kabadi, Handball, Skipping, Cycling, Dance etc
