VALUABLE THOUGHTS

Love Poems No. 28 : TO TAKE HER HANDS

TO TAKE HER HANDS

With stout body and iron sinews
Confident in me, I set out on the boat,
To conquer the warring waves with well practiced hands
Throwing wild the oars, to reach the other shore.

In the desolate shore my love must be alone

Tired of waiting and crumbled in spirits;Will she put out the lights
And sink in oblivion?

The thundering sky threatened,
The roaring sea rejoiced;
Wafting my little boat
Up in the sky to break.

No, I can't surrender thus
And make the sea my grave
Even with this broken piece
I'll cross to take her hands.

Love Poems No. 27 : GIVE ME COURAGE

GIVE ME COURAGE

When spite filled hearts pour out their spleen,
When hiding wolves hasten out of their holes,
When smiling villains draw their daggers in the dark,
Give me courage still not to falter.

When intimate camps flock with my enemies
And enjoy a secret rasa in some jealous corner,
When loved ones throw me away as a used toy,
Give me courage to go till Thou pronounce “come”

When the road seems to end at a dark unexpected turn
And spirits unusually fail to jump into the unseen,
When Satan beckons me to follow Judas to the unknown,
Give me courage still not to surrender in fear.

Love Poems No. 26 : THE BETTER HALF

THE BETTER HALF

An agony untold, I can’t suffer more,
Suffice it to be poles asunder;
If thou art thus distant, ever to be so,
My body shall remain a burnt offering!

Descend quick my love, My parts complete,
Lest this futile half, to ashes should recede;
Like a wanton moth locked within the flower,
Let me wriggle myself, seeking the holy cup.

As a flimsy star, roaming round the spheres,
Only to be sucked by the sunny hole;
I waste my potent store, waiting for the pull,
Open the secret door to eternal carnal bliss.
