Why Is Casual English More Difficult?
Welcome to the casual English micro-course.

For most people, casual English is more difficult than standard English.  This is a problem because casual English is very common-- especially when traveling.

Casual English is used "on the street", and by friends, family and co-workers.  It is also used in movies, TV shows and songs.  To communicate with native speakers (Americans, Canadians, etc.) you must master casual English.

One reason that casual English is difficult is "linking sounds".  Linked sounds create a lot of problems for casual English learners like you!

What are "linking sounds" and why are they difficult?

Here's a short video lesson to teach you now:
Linking Sounds Video

On this same page, my friends and I give you a new lesson to help you understand the conversations you received!

Today you get a "Mini-Story" lesson.  The purpose of the mini-story lesson is to improve your listening skills and teach you to think in English more.

During this course, we will give you a few different lessons to help you understand the casual conversation you received on day 1!

Have a great day and enjoy learning casual English for fun and travel!
