Taize Community, the "Spring of
Godliness"

Taize is a village in France which
attracts thousands of young people from all round the world every year. The
ecumenical community founded by Brother Roger attracts the attention of all
peace lovers around the globe, as there is no such place anywhere else .
Dr.
Karickam narrates the history of this great movement which is the fore runner
of all ecumenical movements in different parts of the world. Brothers of Taize
live in small fraternities among most of the poor nations where they bring the
message of love and peace to suffering communities.
Brother
Roger was a great friend of Mother Teresa and they worked together for the
betterment of suffering humanity. Taize was successful in building up an
example for community living which was a model for many similar movements
in different corners.
The
story of Taize is described fully in this book, which was the first of its kind
in any Asian language. The book was published by M Y books and released in the
year 1988
