SEARCH
SEARCH is a biannual journal on topics on current research and studies in all disciplines published by the Academic Cell of Marthoma College, Thiruvalla. This was one of the first research publications from private colleges in Kerala. The first volume came out in 1995 with Most Rev. Dr. Alexander Marthoma Metropolitan as its patron and Dr. Abraham Karickam as chief editor.
The members of the Academic Cell were Dr. M. M. Thomas (Chairman), Dr. A. P. John (Principal), Rev. Kurian Thomas, Dr. A. J. John and Prof. Philip. N. Thomas (Convener). So many research articles from the academia of Kerala found place in the issues of SEARCH. This played a pivotal role in creating a culture of research among college teachers in the state. This was a pioneer in the field of academic research in the state of Kerala.
